HPI's Baja Q32 Buggy is now available.

By: Tim Gluth

Along with the two 1/36-scale models that ECX released late last year, the other bigger, small-scale release that I’ve been anticipating has been HPI’s 1/32 Baja Q32 buggy.  Along with a similar size and overall appearance to the ECX models, there are a few minor differences that the HPI model brings to the table, namely proportional or “real steer” steering.  For those of you that have been waiting for this model to hit store shelves, good news; it’s now available.

With a suggested retail price $59.99, the Baja Q32 features foam tires, a 2.4GHz radio, a ramp (for jumping and overall craziness) and looks to be built on a solid platform.  There are also standard parts that you can purchase, should things break when you’re doing some break room bashing.  An optional body shell is also available if you want to customize your own mini R/C lid.
